This week we have tried a different engagement strategy. We asked a small group of young people to participate in a ‘text challenge’ each day. Some were small tasks like taking photos of things that inspire them and telling us what is good and bad about work. This has been a great way to build rapport.
Face-to-face interviews with the same young people begin next week where we will present back their ‘Life Circles’ and ‘Day Journeys’ to learn more about how the people and activities in their lives shape the way they think about work. The interviews will be recorded (with their permission) so that we can review what they say and draw trends and comparisons to inform our service design.
