Based on our early design work, the role of a coach to work with a group of young people for a period of 60 weeks is critical to the work ‘stickiness’ benefits for young people and their employers. Recruitment has commenced for a ‘Senior Coach – Youth in Work’ to work with clients of the Job Prospects Footscray and Sunshine sites.
The project team will also be designing how a coach would operate in conjunction with employment consultants and Job Prospects staff more generally.
At this stage we’re anticipating there will be two coaches in place ready for the program pilot to commence in January 2017.
