Young People of Sticking Together: Chad

One of our Sticking Together Young People recently provided us with this feedback that we wanted to share with you all.  Since beginning with the Sticking Together Project Chad has successfully completed a 4 week Get Into Retail pre-employment training program. He’s now closer than ever to securing employment and we’re very excited for Chad, whose future is shining bright.

“My name is Chad, I am 20 years young. I enjoy long walks on the beach, flying my kite at midnight, and  testing to see if things are fireproof.

The Sticking Together Project is much different from anything else I have ever experienced because it feels a lot more personal. You can tell that the Sticking Together group actually want to help you and are not just pretending to care.

My Sticking Together coach is Kirsten and I couldn’t ask for a nicer or more understanding person. Kirsten has gone out of her way to help whenever I needed it and I think that without her support I wouldn’t have had some of the opportunities I have had today.

If I was not in the Sticking Together Project I honestly don’t think I would be in the position I am in now. I wouldn’t have had the experiences that I have had and wouldn’t have been introduced to the great people I met along the way.

If another young person like myself wanted to know my thoughts about the Sticking Together Project I would have to say “They are the friendliest and most helpful people you will meet. If you can get your foot in the door with the Sticking Together group DO IT! They will assist you in any way they can to help you get to where you want to be.”

Overall, I am so glad I was introduced to the Sticking Together Project and the amazing people behind it all.”
